There is also a restaurant serving traditional Berber food where the choice can be to dine inside in the dining rooms, outside on terraces or with a Berber family. Along with the traditional tagine, couscous, brochettes and salads in many varieties, you could also try the local specialities: almond chicken and mishwe if ordered in advance. Mishwe is the cooking of a goat or sheep in an earthen oven. Fresh fruit from the adjoining orchard is sometimes served. On arrival, mint tea is served in the traditionally decorated entrance lounge or on the terrace. |
